Chris and Louise Elkington are a husband and wife team and they started their flock with 2 pet sheep back in 2008. They now look after 450 breeding ewes at Gelston new Grantham and have two young shepherdesses Imogen and Eleanor who love to help out on the farm.
Their mission is to get the nation to eat better meat, producing high quality lamb with outstanding flavour that’s also sustainably farmed using practices that work in harmony with the environment.
The lambs are born and raised on the farm in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. Slow grown and grass-fed to produce an ethically reared meat that is sweet in flavour and tender. Their lamb is 100% traceable, sustainably farmed and has minimal food miles and most importantly tastes delicious.
