About Grasmere Farm

In the early 1990s, on the advice of a local butcher, Stuart Stables began producing Lincolnshire sausages. His family had been farming land at Deeping St James since 1969 but demand for the sausages soared and so the business grew. Today, Grasmere Farm has three butcher shops in Market Deeping, Peterborough and Stamford.
Its Hampshire-cross pigs are at the heart of the business – they live in open straw yards and are looked after using traditional farming methods. As well as premium fresh meat products, Grasmere Farm also produces a line of delectable farmhouse cooked snacks. Its Grasmere Gruntas mini salamis are the perfect way to satisfy hunger pangs, while its scotch eggs are made with Lincolnshire sausage meat for the perfect treat.
