Undiscovered gems in the UK

Get back to your roots in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, home to England’s oldest oak forest and steeped in heritage and culture. You can find luxury lodges and tree houses in the centre of its Whitemead Forest Park where there's plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy.

Be beside the sea in Margate, this gorgeous seaside town has really transformed its fortunes in recent years, to the extent it’s now known as ‘Little London’ thanks to its creative and artistic community.

Love city life in Portsmouth, it boasts not one but two cathedrals and has a rich maritime history as home to Henry VIII’s once sunken warship the Mary Rose and Nelson’s flagship vessel HMS Victory.

Built-in hillside cottage, Uig Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches on Scotland’s Atlantic Coast. Make your visit one to remember by staying at Hoseasons’ Beach Bay Cottage, which is built into the hillside.
