Richard Griffiths
Director
With more than 30 years’ experience in communications, reputation management and stakeholder engagement, I bring strategic insight, sound judgement and a strong commitment to community value to the Board of Lincolnshire Co-op.
Throughout my career, I have worked with public and private sector organisations on issues that matter to everyday lives, including digital and financial inclusion, public transport and community infrastructure. I am passionate about helping organisations demonstrate the wider social value they create alongside commercial success, a principle that closely aligns with Lincolnshire Co-op’s purpose-before-profit ethos.
Prior to joining the Board, I held senior communications roles at Network Rail - a large, regulated and publicly accountable organisation. I regularly advised senior leaders on risk, reputation, governance and stakeholder engagement, particularly during periods of change or intense public scrutiny.
Having lived in the county for most of my life, I know how important the Co-op is to local communities. Alongside my Non-Executive Director role, I am Chair of Nettleham Tennis Club and play an active role in my local community.
