Debbie Meredith

Debbie Meredith 3

Director

Debbie Meredith is a qualified Management Accountant with a Masters in Strategic Quality Management and a background spanning finance, governance and major transformation programmes. After 15 years at Barclays, she retired in 2025, having led global change initiatives and supported colleagues through complex organisational shifts.

Originally from Portsmouth on the south coast, Debbie moved to Lincolnshire with her husband Wayne when she became disabled and could no longer commute into London. That experience has shaped her deep commitment to fairness, accessibility and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive. At Barclays, she played an active role in the Disability, Neurodiversity and Mental Health network, helping to deliver flagship events including those marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Her work in social housing has given her a strong understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals. Debbie brings a calm, thoughtful and community‑focused perspective to the Lincolnshire Co‑op Board, always considering decisions through the lens of members, colleagues and local people.
