I have lived in North Lincolnshire for over 25 years. I married my wife Rachel in 1997 and have two grown up children.
After working and qualifying as an accountant for a large practice in Peterborough for 15 years, in November 1999 I moved to a client company in the manufacturing sector in North East Lincolnshire.
Initially employed as Finance Director, I also had board responsibility for HR, legal / compliance, and ICT. I gradually broadening my role further over time into strategy development / delivery, then in early 2016 I was appointed as Managing Director. I retired from the business in December 2023.
Outside of work, I enjoy travel, live music, and sports, from walking to cycling, pilates and yoga, racket sports, swimming and most recently trying my hand at sailing.
In addition to the privilege of working with Lincolnshire Co-operative I am honoured to be a trustee / director of YMCA Humber and also trustee of a Hull-based charity called R-evolution which aims to upskill people in the Humber region through training programmes in cycle mechanics and horticulture.
