Julie Dows
Director
Originally from South Manchester, I made Lincolnshire my home ten years ago, initially living in Cleethorpes before moving to a small village near Wragby, where I live with my Lincolnshire‑born husband.
My professional background spans engineering, operations, business transformation and major capital investment across highly regulated sectors. I’ve held various executive roles including Vice President Operations, Executive Board Director and Director of Capital Programmes, consistently delivering cultural change, stronger governance and improved organisational performance.
Alongside a 30‑year leadership career, being involved in local life has always mattered to me. I am currently involved in a Lincolnshire‑based Community Interest Company, supporting and representing residents on issues that affect them, organising social events and fundraising initiatives.
The Lincolnshire Co‑op’s commitment to its members and to strengthening local communities is therefore something that I value deeply and so I am very grateful and excited to have been elected and thus able to play a part in its ongoing work and future success.
