Chilli & chocolate dipped crisps

Not sure what to do with your leftover Easter chocolate? Don't let it go to waste, melt it down and create a feisty, flavourful dip for your favourite crisps. 

INGREDIENTS

  • Leftover Easter egg chocolate
  • Anglesey Sea Salt flavoured crisps from local producer Pipers Crisps
  • Pinch of chilli flakes

METHOD

  1. Break up leftover Easter egg chocolate (or any of your favourite milk chocolate).
  2. Melt in a heatproof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water — don’t let the bowl touch the water.
  3. Dip your crisps into the melted chocolate and arrange in a single layer on a lined baking tray.
  4. Sprinkle over a pinch of chilli flakes, then chill for 15 mins, until the chocolate has set.
  5. After that, dive in!
