Brave Lincolnshire Co-op colleagues pulled on their woolly hats, donned their waterproofs and snuggled into their sleeping bags to raise money for charities tackling homelessness.

Staff slept out through wind and rain at the Sleep Easy event at Lincoln Cathedral, raising money for The Nomad Trust and the Lincolnshire Big Snore in Boston, in aid of Framework.

Between them, they raised more than £1,000 for the two charities.

Manager at Cherry Willingham Food Store Michelle Scoffield was one of the team at Sleep Easy.

"It was very cold and it rained all night - I wouldn’t want to it every night," she said.

The colleagues took part in the events through our Community Champions scheme, which was raising money for 14 homelessness charities.
