£95,000 raised for community groups

Together we’ve raised an incredible amount for local groups and charities in our communities through our Community Champions scheme.

From breakfast clubs to bowls groups, scouts to brownies and more – funds raised will be extremely beneficial during these unprecedented times.

That’s why, together with members, Lincolnshire Co-op has been fundraising for 128 local groups through the scheme.

Members helped raise the total simply by shopping with their dividend card.

A donation was made through the Community Champions scheme every time a member shopped in a Lincolnshire Co-op outlet in March, April and May 2020. Proceeds from the carrier bag charge and colleague fundraising also went into the pot.

The total is divided up between the groups, according to how much has been raised locally. Find out which groups your local store supported here.

For more information about the Community Champions scheme and a list of other groups benefiting from the quarter, visit this page.

If you are a part of or know a local group that could benefit from extra funding, click here to apply! The application form is really simple to fill out and your group could receive up to £1,000.
