Calling green-fingered volunteers...

A new community garden featuring a bug hotel, vegetable beds, a boules court and a ‘stump jump’ for children is being created in the north of Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Co-op has teamed up with Green Synergy to bring back life to Olsen Park, which is near the Carlton estate in Lincoln.

Green Synergy is a Lincoln-based charity which uses community gardening and horticultural therapy to help improve people's lives.

The group will be on hand to support those involved in this community gardening project by not only running regular gardening days but also offering specialist workshops for the local community. For more information visit the Green Synergy website

Green Synergy are holding regular gardening mornings for residents and volunteers at Olsen Park.

If you have any queries about the project or want to get involved, give the Lincolnshire Co-op Community team a call on 01522 544 632.
