In just over a week, visit four of the Mediterranean’s most characterful islands, along with Piraeus, gateway to Athens, timed for fewer crowds and winter sun. On tours to the Greek capital, experience the city into the evening, perhaps sampling local cuisine, before returning the next day to see the ancient Acropolis.
Enjoy views of Valletta’s Grand Harbour as you sail into Malta’s historic walled city, before heading to the Italian islands of Sicily and Sardinia, where coastal villages and scenic bays await. In Cagliari, the Castello district offers winding streets and elevated views, while Trapani brings cobbled lanes, Sicilian pastries and the chance to visit hilltop Erice.
Before ending in Málaga, a scenic arrival into Mahón reveals its natural harbour, with the town just a short walk away.
