Alcohol reduction

Dry January 2022

Giving up alcohol can benefit you in many ways, including helping you lose weight, reduce your blood pressure and improve your general long-term health.

If you need help going sober, our pharmacists are on hand to offer all the support you need.

Benefits of reducing alcohol intake

The benefits of reducing your alcohol intake are well documented, however, if you are addicted to alcohol, it's important you see your pharmacist or doctor instead of simply stopping.

You may need support if:

  • You often feel the need to have a drink.
  • You get into trouble because of your drinking.
  • Other people warn you about how much you're drinking.
  • You think your drinking is causing you problems.

If you need help going sober, you can find a selection of helpful resources below. We're here to help, you can talk to a member of our pharmacy team at your local Lincolnshire Co-op Pharmacy.
