Top tips for unique breaks in 2017

Everyone wants their holiday to be perfect – it’s only natural.

That’s why some holidaymakers are happiest booking their favourite destination each year.

But why not take a trip away from the norm with these tempting suggestions from Zane Ground, manager at Boston Travel branch.

Fly away

We’re taking plenty of bookings for long-haul locations like Cuba, Mexico and Florida. They’re full of sunshine and huge doses of culture!

You could stay in the tourist hotspots for a few days before changing location to a quieter retreat.

We can tailor make you an itinerary getting the best out of both – while you relax with a hot drink – in our newly refurbished space a floor down within Oldrids department store in Boston.

There is double the space than in our previous home one floor up, so there’s plenty of room to browse our brochures and book the perfect holiday.

We’ve also got a built-in bureau to make arranging your travel money easy.

Try two breaks in one

‘Twin centre holidays’ split your time between a culture-soaked stay in the city and a classic beachside retreat.

Cayo Coco, an island north of mainland Cuba, is a great place to try it out. You can enjoy the hustle of a city break in Havana before sinking your feet into the white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of Varadero.

Only two-and-a-half-hours of travel by car lies between the two.

Hit the road

We’re seeing a lot of interest now in campervan holidays in the US, Australia and New Zealand.

They give you a taste of adventure and the freedom to discover little-known culture hotspots and quiet beaches, without losing any creature comforts!

Sail the seas

Cruise bookings are increasing too. They’ve got all of the facilities you could ever dream of, from ice skating and surf machines to fairground rides and climbing walls.

You can even catch a cruise to New York with a current Lincolnshire Co-op travel offer, sailing from Southampton on Friday 28th July 2017 on Queen Mary 2 for seven nights.

It’s priced from £699 per person, based on two people sharing an inside cabin on full-board.

Once people have been on a cruise they want to go again and again. Plus, the photographs are sure to make everyone envious back home!
