Funeral plan costs

Snowdrop Small

The ultimate peace of mind...

Our funeral plans start from £2,995 and unlike many other pre-payment funeral plans, there will be nothing more to pay - regardless of when the funeral takes place - if your requirements don't change.

With a Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan, you're guaranteed excellent value as there's no middleman.

There are two distinct parts to a funeral account:

• Funeral director’s charges

• Fees paid on your behalf (disbursements) such as cemetery, cremation and church fees.

With a Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan, disbursements are included in the price at today's rates. Many other plan providers don't fully cover disbursements, which means there will be more to pay at the time of your funeral.

For your guidance, you’ll find examples of costs in the downloadable leaflet below. Talk to our colleagues at your nearest funeral home to explore the options or use our enquiry form.

In paying for your Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan at today’s prices, you can spread the payment over a 12 month period at no additional cost. Or, for a small charge you could opt for 24, 36, 60 or 120 monthly instalments. Get in touch with your nearest funeral home or use our enquiry form to find out more.

A Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan certificate will be prepared with the details of the arrangements and the amount paid. You’ll be sent two copies - one for you for safe-keeping and the duplicate for your solicitor, next of kin, executor or friend. This certificate will be needed when your representative comes to use the funeral plan.

All of your Funeral Plan monies will be invested in individual whole of life insurance policies managed by a reputable financial institution authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority as one of the options required by applicable law.

In addition, Lincolnshire Co-op is registered with the Funeral Planning Authority (FPA) which imposes rules, guidelines and a code of practice that we must comply with. This offers you the protection and assurance that your money is invested in line with these guidelines. The FPA also has arrangements for resolving disputes between customers and FPA registered providers - you can call the FPA on 0845 601 9619 or visit the website for more information
