Safeguarding against the rising cost of funerals

It's odd how we plan for ourselves, for our families, for our security, yet we seldom get round to planning for the one thing none of us can avoid - our funeral.

Loved ones will be left to cope with all the arrangements. The decisions which must be made may be distressing and the financial burden of a funeral can be heavy.

It's sensible and practical to plan ahead. It’s a thoughtful and responsible way of showing concern for your family. It means decisions can be made calmly now, so that at the emotional time of your family’s loss, your wishes can be respected. These wishes can be safeguarded through a Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan.

As a member of Lincolnshire Co-op, you’ll also benefit from 5% dividend on our funeral director's charges.

Our funeral plans let you tailor make funeral arrangements at today's prices. With our unmatched experience and personal service, we will carry out all the arrangements with care and professionalism when the time comes.

Planning for the future...exactly how you want it

Every person is different and every funeral can be too. It should be a reflection of the individual, which is why we believe it’s important that each of our clients feel that every detail and personal touch has been considered.

A Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan does more than just cover the cost of a funeral. It provides an opportunity to arrange the funeral exactly as you want it. If you want to talk to someone about funeral plans, use our enquiry form and we’ll be in touch or contact your local Lincolnshire Co-op funeral home. You can also find out more about costs of a Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan here.

A funeral plan is a way of recording your funeral wishes, planning and paying everything in advance. It can give real peace of mind as all of the details are taken care of, meaning family members won’t have to make decisions at a difficult time in the future.

Burial and cremation costs continue to increase at a higher level than inflation, and it’s likely that monies paid into insurance policies and many other types of funeral plan may not provide adequate cover for funeral expenses. It makes perfect sense to provide for the one thing none of us can avoid.

Get in touch with us to arrange a time to discuss your needs. You can use our funeral plan enquiry form or call your nearest Lincolnshire Co-op funeral home.

Most people have specific wishes about the personal touches associated with their eventual funeral, whether it be the music they want playing in the service, their coffin or the type of flowers they would like. Our funeral staff can go through all of the arrangements, providing information and advice to make sure everything is tailored to you.

You’re able to change, upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan at any time – though some changes may incur additional expenses. See our terms and conditions (downloadable at the bottom of this page) for more.

You will receive 5% dividend on our funeral director's charges if you’re a member of Lincolnshire Co-op.

Plus, if you recommend us to a friend, you will share an additional £100 worth of dividend. If you would like to find out more information, please contact us via our enquiry form or by calling your local funeral home

Your next of kin should simply contact your nearest funeral home. The funeral will then be conducted as previously arranged. They will need your Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Plan certificate.

You have the assurance of knowing that as well as providing the plan, a Lincolnshire Co-op funeral home will conduct the funeral. This means that we maintain full control of quality and standards, providing a service you know you can trust.

Your Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Bond covers the cost of a funeral conducted in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire and any other address within 20 miles of a Lincolnshire Co-op funeral home. If death occurs outside these areas, then an additional fee may be payable to cover the extra cost of providing the funeral. Please see our terms and conditions - downloadable at the bottom of the page.
