Originally from Newark, I married John in 1991 and have lived in Sleaford ever since.
My career has spanned many aspects of the retail trade including operations, production and the many facets of a diverse food supply chain.
I had the privilege of working for Lincolnshire Co-op for many years in operational and management roles to provide goods and services to the members across the trading area.
During my service, I represented the Society regionally and nationally on governance groups, committees and forums, collaborating on projects with other Co-operatives throughout the UK, working towards and sharing the co-operative values and principles in making life better in our communities.
After leaving the Society, I have been building my own proofreading and business support service.
