We’ve been in touch with many of our tenants and suppliers over the past few weeks discussing individual circumstances, and how particular business sectors have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Please keep talking to us as your situation evolves and Government advice is updated.
Government support is available to employers and the self-employed, and we know many of you have been taking up the cash grants, tax relief, loans and furloughing staff members to manage cash flow at this time.
To make sure you’re aware of all the support available to you, put your details in to the Business Support Finder on the Government website to get the full list of options you are eligible for.
Here are details of some of the additional support we can offer...
Posters and resources
There are official resources available from the government and on industry led websites such as the Association of Convenience Stores.
Lincolnshire Co-op has designed a number of posters which we are happy to adapt and share if you’d find these useful for your premises.
Training
We have developed a number of training resources for our colleagues, which we are happy to share with you.
These cover:
• Social distancing
• Having difficult conversations with customers
• How to correctly wear PPE masks and gloves
We have asked our staff to complete this training to ensure they are equipped and confident to be at work safely.
Please let us know if you’d like access to this training for you and your team.
Screens and floor vinyls
If you’re looking at ordering some protective screens for your counter tops, we have bought a number of these from Lincoln-based business ‘Your Print Partner’.
And similarly, social distancing floor vinyls are available from many local signage suppliers, including:
We are happy to share the artwork we have used for our floor vinyls – just let us know and we’ll send you the files.
Offers and promotions
You may be thinking about opening offers and promotions to tempt customers back to your business when lock down restrictions are eased.
We can help your business reach out to our 280,000 members using a wide range of communication channels. We’ll set everything up and help with the artwork – all free of charge. All we ask is that the offer is exclusive to us.
Our communication channels include:
Volunteers
We understand some of our charitable tenants are concerned about how many volunteers will be available to support their services in the coming months. We recommend contacting the VCS or LCVS if you think this might be an issue for you.
