These Prize Competition Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’), shall govern the relationship between you (‘you’ ‘your’ ‘participant’) and Lincolnshire Co-operative Limited (a registered society with registration number IP00141R) having its registered office at 15-23, Tentercroft Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN5 7DB (‘we’ ‘us’ ‘our’ ‘Promoter’), in relation to any prize competition organised by us or by any agent expressly authorised by us (‘our prize competitions’).

Please read them carefully, as they affect your rights and obligations in relation to your participation in any of our prize draws.

It incorporates by reference, such other terms and conditions that we may introduce from time to time.

By participating in any of our prize competitions, you accept to be bound by these Terms and all other terms incorporated by reference, in these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not participate in our prize competitions.

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Where any such amendments are made, we will endeavour to provide notice to you. However, the absence of any such notice shall not invalidate the relevant amendments and if you continue to participate in any of our prize competitions after any such amendment(s), it will be deemed as your acceptance of any such amended Terms.

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between a term incorporated by reference and a term in any of these Terms, these Terms will prevail and apply.

General

1. The Promoter

1. The competition
   1. The title of the competition is HORNCASTLE FUNERAL HOME PHOTOGRAPHS
   2. PLEASE SUBMIT ANY APPROPRIATE PHOTOGRAPHS OF HORNCASTLE, THE SURROUNDING AREA OR ANYWHERE IN LINCOLNSHIRE VIA COMMENT ON THE FACEBOOK POST. WE WILL CONTACT YOU IF YOUR PHOTO IS CHOSEN.
2. How to enter
   1. The competition will run from 12PM on 07 OCTOBER 2025 (the "Opening Date") to 12PM 10 OCTOBER 2025 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
   2. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter [at the address set out[EE1] at condition 1] by no later than 12PM on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
   3. To enter the competition:
      • Participants must comment on the prize comment post on The Lincolnshire Co-operative Facebook page at Facebook.com/Lincolnshire_coop with their entry submission by the Closing Date. All entries after the closing date will be invalid and disqualified.
   4. No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.
   5. The Promoter will not accept:
      • responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      • proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
   6. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. Eligibility
   1. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over(who must be a registered member of /www.facebook.com ), except:.
   2. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
      • automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
      • completed by third parties or in bulk;
      • illegible, have been altered, not received by the Promoter (or agent), delayed reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
      • photocopies and not originals;
      • incomplete;
      • Inappropriate or offensive
   3. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
4. The prize
   1. The owners of chosen photographs will receive a love local hamper.
5. Winners
   1. The decision of [the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
   2. The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practical after the Announcement Date to inform them they have won the prize competition, via a private message to the winner’s Facebook account.
   3. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
   4. If the winner(s) do not respond to the Promoter within 3 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
   5. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
   6. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6. Limitation of liability
   1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when purchasing online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete purchases and any incomplete purchases will not be considered valid for entry into the prize competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.

7. By submitting a photograph the entrant grants Lincolnshire Co-operative Ltd a non-exclusive royalty fee licensed to use, reproduce and publish the image in any media, for an indefinite period of time.

We will hold your details securely and confidentially in accordance with the UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws. The Promoter will use your details for prize draw activities and marketing purposes on its website and social media platforms. We will delete them when no longer required.

You can ask us for a copy of your details at any time. Please let us know if your details change or if you no longer want us to hold your details.

1. General
   1. By sending entries, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms upon entry into the prize draw. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms.
   2. The Promoter reserves the right to discount any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify, from the prize draw. any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating including, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple computer-generated entries, or otherwise in our opinion fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly
   3. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
   4. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
   5. These Terms are agreed between you and the Promoter. Apart from you and the Promoter, nobody else can enforce any of these Terms.
   6. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.

By participating in this prize draw, Participants accept Facebook's terms and conditions although it is acknowledged that this prize draw is not sponsored or endorsed by, nor associated with, Facebook. Participants release Facebook from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with their entry or participation in this prize draw.
