Over the last few weeks we've been celebrating all the delicious products our Love Local💚 suppliers provide to our food stores and we've caught up with a few of them to find out how they've been getting on during lockdown....
One such supplier is Lymn Bank Cheese - a real family affair with 6 out of the 20 staff part of the Grinstead family. They first moved to Lymn Bank with a dream of becoming self-sufficient. After a short while, however, they turned their attention to learning how to make cheese - as a result the famous Lymn Bank cheeses were born.
Now Lymn Bank Farm in Thorpe St Peter, near Skegness produces more than 20 different varieties of cheese - including Skegness and Sunset Blues, flavoured cheddars and waxed truckles - plus delicious handmade chutney.
We caught up with Gemma form Lymn Bank Cheese who said
We wouldn't have done anything (during lockdown) without Lincolnshire Co-op
