Thriving colleagues

Lincolnshire Co-op is celebrating superstar colleagues who have gone above and beyond, as part of its THRIVE Spotlight Awards.

From food store and Support Centre colleagues going above and beyond to support the health and wellbeing of customers and colleagues, to travel colleagues stepping up for each other, there were so many inspiring stories as always.

Our THRIVE awards are a way to recognise colleagues who are living the society’s THRIVE values; Trustworthy, Helpful, Respectful, Inspiring, Valued and Empowered. The winners have been nominated by their fellow colleagues, who see the impact they’re making on their communities every day.

A panel made up of colleague judges help select a winner and runner-up for each category. The prize is £100 for winners and £50 for runners-up, and everyone is presented with a certificate.

Here’s what some nominations said:

"She has shown great empathy, concern and understood how to make the situation as positive as possible for the customer."

"Any issues we've had or tweaks we've needed, he's assisted with speed and thoughtfulness. I'm new to the Society and I've been really impressed with his support and professionalism."

"She stepped up and supported the onboarding of a completely new team, sharing her knowledge, guiding colleagues who were only a few months behind her in their own careers, and helping to bring stability."
