Naan bread pizza

This simple recipe is the perfect way to keep the family fed this half term. It's quick, delicious and full of flavour!

SERVES 2 TAKES 5 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to cook

Ingredients

4 rashers Lincolnshire Quality bacon, cut into large pieces
2 naan breads
6 tbsp tomato-flavoured pizza topping or pasta sauce, such as The Co-operative
Whole Cherry Tomato and Chilli Pasta Sauce
4 chestnut mushrooms, sliced
50g Lincolnshire Poacher cheese, grated
A small handful rocket leaves, to serve

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas 6. Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Put the bacon pieces on top and place in the oven for 5 minutes or until the bacon is just beginning to cook. Remove from the tray and set aside on kitchen roll. Put a fresh piece of baking paper on the baking tray.

2. Spread the naan breads with the tomato-flavoured pizza topping or pasta sauce, then arrange the mushroom slices on top with the bacon pieces. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.

3. Place the naan breads on the baking tray and bake for 10 minutes or until the bacon is cooked and beginning to turn crisp and the cheese has melted. Scatter the hot pizzas with rocket and serve straight away.
