More time to use old £10 notes

Image of Lady-shopping.JPG for More time to use old £10 notes

The time has come to say farewell to the old £10 note, but there’s no need to rush if one is still in your pocket.

The old notes officially go out of circulation today, Thursday 1st March.

However, Lincolnshire Co-op’s food stores, pharmacies, travel branches and other outlets will accept them as payment until Saturday 31st March. The only exception is in the Society’s post offices.

This valued service gives shoppers and members an extra month to dig out and use up any old £10 notes.

The old £10 notes can also easily be paid into bank accounts through Lincolnshire Co-op’s post offices, ready to spend or save for a rainy day. It’s just one of the many personal and business services that the Society’s post offices offer.
