It is with great sadness that we mark the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
We send our condolences to the entire Royal Family.
There is now a period of national mourning. We'll be paying our respects in a number of ways during this time.
We will be closing our branches on Monday 19th September to mark the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
Following the approval of a bank holiday by His Majesty The King, all our outlets will remain closed to the public for the full day as a mark of respect and to observe this historic event.
Lincolnshire Co-op’s CEO, Ursula Lidbetter said: “We are deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
"We will be closing our outlets on the day of the funeral to honour her lifetime of dedication and service to our nation.”
Some colleagues will be at work behind the scenes for essential operational duties, and funeral services arranged for Monday 19th September will go ahead at the discretion and wishes of the families.
Lincolnshire Co-op outlets will return to normal trading hours from Tuesday 20th September.
From Friday 9th September, condolence books are available in all our funeral homes, our florist and at our Head Office in Lincoln for people to pay their respects and express their gratitude for a lifetime of service.
You can sign the books at any time during the opening hours. Click here to find your nearest branch.
For those who wish to leave a message but are unable to do so in person, an online Book of Condolence is available on the Royal website.
On behalf of us all at Lincolnshire Co-op, Chief Executive Officer Ursula Lidbetter has written a letter of condolence to His Majesty – giving thanks for the life of the late Queen Elizabeth.
