We're sorry but a problem has occurred. The developers have been notified and will investigate as soon as possible.
Travel agents are calling on customers to help pack Santa’s Suitcase with gifts, to bring holiday spirit for local charities to share with the people they support in the run-up to Christmas.
A variety of local groups are being supported by Lincolnshire Co-op travel branches including foodbanks, children's charities and community larders. Items which are needed for the appeal range from small toys and books to canned food and toiletry gift sets. The donations will then be handed to each charity in time for Christmas.
Lincolnshire Co-op’s Travel Group Manager Travel Wayne Dennett said he hopes lots of the branches’ customers will get behind the appeal.
“These groups provide a valued service making life better for vulnerable people in our communities,” he said.
“We hope the gifts and items we’re collecting through the Santa’s Suitcase campaign will help those who may be struggling this festive season.”
The campaign is running until Friday 6th December. To find out more about the appeal and how to donate, contact your local travel branch.
The majority of Lincolnshire Co-op’s food stores also have collection points for local food banks and community larders. Customers can donate packets, tins and dried food by leaving items inside a marked collection bin at these stores.
