Our new food store in Heapham Road in Gainsborough has now opened its doors.

The new £1.3m outlet is now open from 7am until 10pm seven days a week and offers extras including an in store bakery, lottery and an ATM.

The store replaces our outlet in Queensway and is two times larger with a dedicated car park.

We’ve welcomed an extra nine people onto our existing team and we hope all our colleagues are enjoying their new store.

To celebrate the opening we gave out donations of £250 each to three local schools; Hillcrest Early Years Academy,
White’s Wood Academy and Charles Baines Community Primary School.

We also gave away free bunches of flowers to our first 50 customers and until 27th January customers who spend more than £15 will receive a free box of Milk Tray chocolates.

Luke Lovelidge, Vice Principal of Hillcrest Academy said: "Thank you to Lincolnshire Co-op. We have plans to build a swimming pool so this donation will go towards buying resources for the children to learn to swim. We’ve had a look around the co-op and we think it’s a great asset to parents and children and to our staff who we know will be in
here at lunchtimes!"
