We're sorry but a problem has occurred. The developers have been notified and will investigate as soon as possible.
Our Community Development Co-ordinators haven’t stopped - from helping at food banks to painting local cafes, the team have been making a positive difference in our communities.
Here’s how….
Jac Sutherland covers Newark and Nottinghamshire. She’s been helping prepare meals for Carriages Community Cafe in Newark.
Along with Chris Glover from our Store Development team she also dropped off and assembled three shelving units at Newark Foodbank and two units at Collingham Food Pantry.
Karen Holland looks after East Lincolnshire. She’s been busy arranging support from our pharmacies for people left stranded by the sudden closure of Age UK Lindsey’s prescription delivery service.
She’s also been supporting Horncastle and District Scrub Hub, making scrubs for frontline workers, and has helped prepare lunches for disadvantaged children with Wragby CHEF (Children Eat Free).
Sophie Leaning supports Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire. She’s helping Market Rasen Foodbank and connecting them with Market Rasen Action Group to get more volunteers.
And our Member Engagement Co-ordinator Laura Worsley is covering Lincoln and parts of south Lincolnshire. She worked alongside Jac to help sort donations for The Nomad Trust’s charity shop in Lincoln.
She also put her DIY skills to the test as she co-ordinated a (socially-distanced) team to give Age UK’s Park Street Café in Lincoln a lick of paint ready for its re-opening in July.
