Teams across Lincolnshire Co-op have worked together to support local food banks.
Community Development Co-ordinator Jac Sutherland teamed up with Property Manager Ed Greaves to help Collingham Food Larder and Heckington Community Food Larder find temporary bases after both groups lost their accommodation.
Both services are now being provided from property we own – in Collingham, from our old food store and in Heckington, from the former Royal Oak pub.
These temporary leases help both charities continue to serve the local community.
Jac also enlisted Store Development Projects Manager Chris Glover's help as they dropped off and assembled shelving units at Newark Food Bank and Collingham Food Larder.
