Colleagues going the extra mile

Lincolnshire Co-op is celebrating superstar colleagues who have gone above and beyond, as part of its THRIVE Spotlight Awards.

From pharmacy colleagues facilitating the opening of a new branch, to food store managers supporting the health and wellbeing of their customers, to a funeral colleague delivering exceptional care to the family of a loved one, there were many inspiring stories.

The awards are a way to recognise colleagues who are living the society’s THRIVE values; trustworthy, helpful, respectful, inspiring, valued and empowered. The winners have been nominated by their fellow colleagues, who see the impact they’re making on their communities every day.

A panel made up of colleague judges help select a winner and runner-up for each category. The prize for the winning category is £100 and £50 for runners-up, and everyone is presented with a certificate.
