Award recognises travel team

Travel colleagues from Lincolnshire Co-op are celebrating after winning Best Travel Business East of England at The Travel Network Group conference.

This year’s conference, hosted at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, was to celebrate the ways travel teams and individuals deliver exceptional experiences to their customers and build connections.

The conference included the awards, as well as workshops, networking opportunities, speeches and meetings with business partners.

Lincolnshire Co-op runs 13 travel branches in Greater Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Wayne Dennett, Lincolnshire Co-op Travel Operations Manager, said: “It was an incredible night celebrating the industry and it’s so important to spend quality time with our teams and wonderful business partners.

“What a way to top off the night by taking an award home, that shows well deserved recognition for our travel colleagues who work hard to drive sales and turn dreams into a reality for our customers. Well done everyone!”
