249 colleagues, members and customers pulled on their gardening gloves, grabbed litter pickers and paint brushes, and pulled together to make a difference to green spaces and community projects across our area.
The Big Co-op Clean took place earlier this month with colleagues, members and customers giving a total of 1,030 hours to their local communities.
Projects included looking after the local environment by planting up flower beds for Holbeach in Bloom to supporting the valued services provided by St Barnabas Hospice in Louth and Jerry Green Dog Rescue Centre in Brigg.
Other activities took place at Nettleham Woods Trust, Queen Elizabeth Recreation Park in Swaton near Sleaford, Westbourne Grove Environmental Enhancement Centre in Caistor, the Willows Community Centre, Grimsby, Saxilby Regeneration Project and Chapel Point beach, near Skegness.
