Holidaymakers in Retford will benefit from a new-look place to book a break as a new, independent travel branch will soon be opening!
The new £60,000 Lincolnshire Co-op Travel branch in Market Square will open at the end of 2017, creating four jobs.
It will feature a Bureau de Change, three travel desks and a seating area for customers, as well as a walk way to guide customers through the modern outlet. There will also be a ceiling-mounted world map to inspire wanderlust for everyone who pops by.
Head of Travel Wayne Dennett said: “We’re keen to bring our friendly advice and services to the people of Retford and the surrounding areas, as well as provide more choice for people wanting to book a holiday.
“Our travel branches are also independent and aren’t tied to any single tour operator. This gives us the flexibility to book from a range of over 200 suppliers.”
It means Lincolnshire Co-op members in the area will benefit from a new place to earn and spend dividend, which they can use towards trips and travel money.
The Society also operates a funeral home on Moorgate and Kilton Food Store in Worksop, as well as other services across Lincolnshire and the surrounding counties.
