Dividend Bonus 2023

Bonus e shot 2023 web images

We're pleased to announce we've maintained a dividend bonus this year despite a significantly reduced surplus due to high energy, personnel and distribution costs.

Our overall trading surplus has reduced by 27% on last year, the equivalent of £4.5m. Therefore we need, as highlighted at the Half Year meeting and Half Year Members' Report, to reduce the dividend bonus paid to members.

You can read more about this in our Directors Report and Financial Statements here.

Despite these challenging times, we are pleased to announce we have approved a dividend bonus payment for members' equivalent to 70%, or 70p for every £1 of dividend collected in the year up to 3rd September 2023.

Your dividend bonus will be available to spend from Saturday 2nd December 2023 as full or part payment in any of our stores using your mobile app, dividend card and key fob. We hope you enjoy spending it!

How is this year’s bonus calculated?

Your bonus will be based on how much dividend you have collected throughout the year and how profitable we've been. This year your share of the profits is worth 70p for every £1 of dividend you've collected between 4th September 2022 and 3rd September 2023.

I still have an enquiry...

Our Membership Team are ready to answer any other queries you have about your bonus or account. You can call them Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, or email them at membership@lincolnshire.coop

From 1st January 2024 purchases made in our travel and funeral businesses will no longer be eligible for dividend bonus. Members will continue to receive dividend at the basic rate of issue.

Saturday 2nd December 2023 is our Christmas event day in all our food stores - here you'll be able to collect 10% dividend on all purchases on this day only!

Plus, it's the start of our 10% dividend vouchers too - so don't delay, pop in today.

Not only that but the 2nd December marks the start of our Food Bank Advent campaign, where each day you can donate items, and your dividend, to help local food banks. Find out more about it here.

Your dividend card saves you money and raises funds for your local community.

Don’t forget to use your dividend card, app or key fob every time you shop to support local good causes – plus, check out our member offers for money off at local bars, restaurants, days out and more!
