A problem has occurred
We're sorry but a problem has occurred. The developers have been notified and will investigate as soon as possible.
We’ll be investing £1.8m in transforming the site of the former Laceby Arms on Caistor Road into a Lincolnshire Co-op convenience store.
Work starts on Monday 11th April and will involve demolishing parts of the buildings, constructing extensions and creating a service area to enable delivery vehicles to access the store. There’s also extensive work needed to connect utilities to the site and to level parts of it.
Our contractors, Belvin Construction, will keep disruption to a minimum.
However, we will need to close the car park at the rear of the site while construction takes place.
Safety needs to be our priority and the project includes significant work on the access into the site, which will happen in stages throughout the scheme.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience this will cause and we’ll do everything we can to ensure it’s not closed any longer than it needs to be.
Once our store opens, the car park will be available for the community to use once again.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you inside our new food store in spring 2024. It will include and fresh and frozen food, chilled beers and wines, freshly baked goods, fruit and veg, a Costa Express machine, our Love Local range featuring products from the area and much more.
Our nearby outlets include The Willows and Cambridge Road food stores and post offices in Grimsby, Waltham Food Store and Keelby Food Store.
At Lincolnshire Co-op, we have our own membership scheme and dividend card.
You'll receive dividend on your shopping and can spend it in store. We pay dividend on branded and own brand products, plus extra dividend on local, Fairtrade and fruit and veg.
There are lots more benefits too. Find out more here.
Hundreds of local charities and good causes benefit from our Community Champions scheme each year.
We make a donation to Community Champions whenever a member shops with their dividend card. We also add fundraising and proceeds from the carrier bag levy.
Each of our branches is linked to Community Champions in that local area. So, if you're from a group or organisation in Laceby that could benefit, find out more here.
We're also involved in the community in lots of different ways, from organising health walks to volunteering events. Find out more here.
