Direct group farewell

A Direct Group Farewell offers a direct cremation with a shared, small-group farewell.

Prices start from £1,995

This option allows a limited number of friends and family to gather for an intimate goodbye at our funeral home. It provides the opportunity to pause, reflect and celebrate their life together, without attending a formal funeral service. We will ensure everything is conducted with respect and care.

What’s included in our direct group farewell package:

✓ All necessary legal and administrative arrangements

✓ Collection and transportation into our care*

✓ Care of your loved one at a local funeral home

✓ Embalming of your loved one

✓ Dressing of your loved one in a gown or their own clothes

✓ Viewing in our Chapel of Rest by appointment only during office hours

✓ Private hire of funeral home for intimate gathering, with personal items for up to 2 hours. Light refreshments will be provided.

✓ Transportation of your loved one on the day of the cremation

✓ Cremation fees

✓ A veneer coffin with the option to upgrade

✓ Option to have the ashes scattered, or to collect them from your local funeral home.

Restrictions and limitations:

✖ Gathering restricted to 6pm-8pm.

✖ The cremation takes place without family or friends in attendance.

✖ The date, time and location of the cremation are determined by availability and cannot be selected.

If you would like greater flexibility or support with any of these aspects, we can talk you through the alternatives and help you explore other options that may better suit your wishes.

*This includes collection and travel within a 20-mile radius of your local funeral home. If a longer journey is required, an additional charge of £2 per mile will apply. We’ll always discuss this with you in advance so there are no unexpected costs.
