A Direct Farewell includes a direct cremation with the opportunity for a private goodbye.

Prices start from £1,845

This option allows you to spend quiet time with your loved one before the cremation takes place. For many families, that personal moment of reflection provides comfort, even without a formal service. We will guide you through the arrangements and ensure the setting feels peaceful and unhurried.

What’s included in our direct farewell package:

✓ All necessary legal and administrative arrangements

✓ Collection and transportation into our care*

✓ Care of your loved one at a local funeral home

✓ Embalming of your loved one

✓ Dressing of your loved one in a gown or their own clothes

✓ Viewing in our Chapel of Rest by appointment only during office hours

✓ Transportation of your loved one on the day of the cremation

✓ Cremation fees

✓ A veneer coffin with the option to upgrade

✓ Option to have the ashes scattered, or to collect them from your local funeral home.

Restrictions and limitations:

✖ Viewing is restricted to office hours.

✖ The cremation takes place without family or friends in attendance.

✖ The date, time and location of the cremation are determined by availability and cannot be selected.

If you would like greater flexibility or support with any of these aspects, we can talk you through the alternatives and help you explore other options that may better suit your wishes.

*This includes collection and travel within a 20-mile radius of your local funeral home. If a longer journey is required, an additional charge of £2 per mile will apply. We’ll always discuss this with you in advance so there are no unexpected costs.
