Community Champions is changing…

We're making some changes to our Community Champions scheme which will enable us to work together to raise even more for good causes in our area.

From November 2018, we're going to close the Central List and members will no longer be able to choose their own individual Community Champion.

Lincolnshire Co-op’s ethos is about encouraging people to work together. Closing the Central List means that all members will be raising money together for the Community Champions in their local area, rather than choosing their own to support.

We're doubling the money the Central List groups raised in the last year and we’re encouraging them to apply to be a Community Champion during our local causes fundraising during autumn 2019. By doing this, they can receive a larger amount, typically between £500 and £1,000. Application forms can be found here.

Charities and good causes can also re-apply every two years. Community Champions are chosen by our members, either online or at members’ forum in March.

In addition to Community Champions we also offer support with fundraising by donating raffle prizes or refreshments. If you have fundraising coming up, then please take a letter in to your local food store to ask for help.
