Community Champions is Lincolnshire Co-op’s way of sharing our profits with the community. As we’re owned by our members, we want to put them firmly in the driving seat, giving them the power to help their local community.
Every time a member shops with us using their dividend card, a donation will go to a nominated local charity or community group in their area. The beauty of Community Champions is that the more members spend, the more each local groups receive. During the 3 month period that Champions are nominated for, they can expect to raise around £200 - £2,000 but the sky’s the limit. Community Champions first launched in March 2013 and in the first year members helped us raise over £192,000 for 311 nominated local charities and good causes simply by shopping with us.
As part of Community Champions, members also have the option of choosing to support a charity or community group of their choice from our central list. Charities or community groups who join our central list will receive the total amount raised by members who support them at the end of each year.

Apply to become a Community Champion. Your group can sign-up for 3 months, or go on our central list to receive ongoing support.

As a member, all you need to do is shop with us and use your dividend card. The more you spend, the more the local good cause will receive!

There are two main ways in which your charity or community group could benefit from our new Community Champions scheme.

- Choose your own Community Champion
The charity or community group you support when you shop is linked to your local store. If you prefer, you can choose a group from our central list.
