How do I join a Health Walk?

Just come along at the advertised time and join in! All our walks our free of charge, however certain groups ask for a donation towards refreshments.

What do I need to bring with me?

You’ll need comfortable shoes, trainers or walking shoes/boots if you have them.

Bring your hats, gloves and scarfs if it’s going to be cool - you can always take them off. You could bring a light waterproof jacket if you’re unsure about the weather.

A small bottle of water will keep you hydrated, and it’s advisable to wear sun cream when walking in warm months.

Do I have to register?

You must complete a ‘New Walker Registration’ form on your first walk, but after filling it in you can walk with any of the Lincolnshire Health Walk groups.

Can I bring my dog on the walks?

Well behaved dogs will be welcome if they are on a lead, however this is at the discretion of the volunteer walk leader.

Are children welcome on the health walks?

All health walks welcome children to attend if they are with a parent/grandparent or guardian.
