Pharmacy – potential delays for repeat prescriptions

Due to high temperatures affecting our medicines warehouse, your local pharmacy may be operating differently than usual.

We’re making every effort to restore our warehouse systems, and our pharmacy teams in all branches are working hard to fulfil prescriptions and treat patients.

The situation means:

• There may be delays or longer waiting times within your branch.
• A queuing system may be used.
• Patients should allow one week for repeat prescriptions to be prepared before collecting from branch.
• Please don’t pick up your repeat prescription too early- aim to do this when you have around three days of medication left.
• If you need to start using a medication straight away, our team are happy to help, but please understand that it may take longer than usual.
