Following the recent government announcement, it has been confirmed that pre-departure testing for arrivals into the UK will no longer be required for fully vaccinated travelers.

Following this from Sunday 9th January, the day two PCR test will be replaced by a lateral flow test for fully vaccinated travelers. A PCR test will only be required if the result is positive.

Before returning to the UK, you will need to complete a passenger locator form, available from www.gov.uk. It is also important to note that you may be required to complete a locator form for your chosen destination.

We are also recommending that you download the new NHS app. This will confirm your vaccination status. More info is available here You can download the app by following this link: NHS App

Customers without access to smart phones or the internet can request a vaccination status letter by calling 119, two weeks after having your second dose of the vaccine, or two weeks after a single-dose of the Janssen vaccine. You should receive the letter within 5 working days.

Passport rules have changed now we are not part of the EU. For adults, your passport validity is now counted 10 years from the issue date, and not the expiry date on your passport.

How much time you need on your passport depends on the country you’re visiting. Check the Foreign Office travel advice for the country you want to travel to – read the entry requirements section.
