Every Mind Matters

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health.

We have 113 trained Mental Health First Aiders across our business, and the vast majority of our pharmacy branches have someone who has done a mental health awareness course.

This training means our colleagues could help identify someone who may be struggling with their mental health, and have the skills and confidence to offer support.

We're supporting the Better Health: Every Mind Matters campaign targeting loneliness.

Loneliness is an issue that can affect us all, young or old, at any point in our lives.

We can all experience loneliness in different ways. We're encouraging people to talk more openly about it and the impact it can have.

There are some simple actions you can take to help lift yourself and others out of loneliness:

  • A simple text or a call can help them and you feel more connected.
  • Invite someone for a walk.
  • Reach out to a friend for a cuppa.
  • Do things you enjoy - this can stop you focusing on feelings of loneliness.

Reaching out to others can help you feel less lonely too.
