Our travel branches have beaten competition from over 800 different agents to win a national honour.
Lincolnshire Co-op’s travel team have been named Member of the Year by Worldchoice, a consortium of independent travel branches from across the UK.
The judges praised our travel business for its supportive culture, training and the close relationship between the Head of Travel and colleagues in branches.
They were also impressed by the role our travel branches play in their local communities, including fundraising for good causes through our Community Champions scheme.
Travel Group Manager Wayne Dennett said: “This award really is for each and every one of the travel team.
“Whether they are an experienced manager, one of our admin team, an apprentice, a colleague working in marketing, one of the accounts team or anyone else who has contributed to what we strive to achieve, their contribution is very much appreciated
“I’m so proud of them all.”
