Colleagues from across Lincolnshire Co-op have been honoured after accumulating 1,349 of loyal service between them – with one starting their career in 1964!
Members of staff from across the business received a Long Service Award to recognise reaching their 25, 40 and 50 year milestones, including staff from funeral branches, pharmacies and coffee shops. A long service dinner was held to celebrate their landmarks.
Also, an afternoon tea was held to recognise those who worked with companies that the Society took over, with 30 invitees.
Head of People and Performance Heather Lee said: “We’ve been recognising long service in a number of ways, from presenting colleagues with gold watches and vouchers to special mugs. We hope in the future to be celebrating 25 years and more for our current apprentices!”
Colleagues who were unable to attend are being recognised in their work place.
