This course is for anyone who feels they want to know more about being assertive, wants to increase their confidence in themselves or wants to be more assertive. If you feel your lack of confidence or assertiveness gets in the way of your day to day life, then give this course a try.
What will I get out of it?
• To recognise the benefits of being assertive
• To identify the three main behaviour types and how these affect myself and others
• Understand the meaning and effects of Assertiveness, Aggressiveness and Passiveness
• To consider body language and the effects on assertiveness and confidence
• To describe the three A’s of self-esteem
• To give and receive constructive feedback
• To identify ways of feeling more confident

We will supply refreshments, including lunch. If you have special dietary needs, let us know so that appropriate refreshments can be arranged. Parking is not available at Stanley Bett House, however the bus and train stations are both in walking distance to Stanley Bett House.
