James Scott
Director
Before joining Lincolnshire Co-op, I was self employed owning several businesses employing 26 people. Starting from empty premises I opened two general stores with off licences, a fancy-dress shop, a wine shop and I also owned and ran one of the largest driving schools in Lincoln. I changed career direction in 2001 and stepped away from these businesses selling them all as going concerns.
I have now worked for Lincolnshire Co-op for several years employed as a Driving Assessor/ Fleet Trainer and cover the whole trading area meeting colleagues and members.
I share in the vision of being the best cooperative we can be by engaging with members, supporting stakeholders (tenants, local businesses etc.) and working with local communities to make life better and building trust with everyone by promoting good governance.
