St John the Baptist CE Primary School in Spalding was awarded £5,000 towards new sound and lighting including radio and static microphones, a mixing desk, and an amplifier and speakers as well as a controllable lighting system. The equipment will mainly be used by the after school drama group, choir club and for school productions but it will also be open for use by other groups who use the school hall such as St John the Baptist Church.

Old Leake Youth Football Club was awarded £2,500 to buy and erect flood lights so the children can train and play football in the winter months. The money they were previously spending on hiring the school hall will now be spent on kit and equipment for the club.
