Our family of businesses
Our members benefit from a wide range of Lincolnshire Co‑operative services - from food to furnishings and health advice to holidays. Here's a summary of what we do.
- Coffee shops
We have coffee shops in Lincoln and Long Sutton which both serve homemade food and drinks throughout the day. The tea is Fairtrade and some cakes come from your Society’s local bakers Gadsby’s.
There are over 70 foodstores and 10 filling stations across our trading area. These vary in size but most offer a range of locally sourced products including meat, Fairtrade items and groceries.
We run 16 funeral homes, which pride themselves on providing high standards of care to people at a difficult time. We also have a florists in Lincoln and a stonemasons workshop.
We’ve got a share in Gadsby’s Bakery, based in Southwell. The firm supplies many customers, including all of our foodstores, with baked goods, traditionally crafted breads and confectionery.
- Lincoln Shop Equipment
This is one of our subsidiary businesses and specialises in Cash Registers, EPOS and CCTV Systems.
Maltby’s is another of our subsidiaries. It’s a long‑established pharmacy wholesale business with an excellent reputation for service.
Our pharmacies offer an expert dispensing service. Some pharmacies offer specialised services like smoking cessation, medicine use reviews, sexual health services and chiropody.
- Post offices
At Lincolnshire Co‑op we believe that Post Offices play an important role as community hubs providing essential services. We run 41 Post Offices across the trading area and subsidise them as a community service. Many of our Post Offices are co‑located with foodstores.
Our travel agencies offer a wide‑range of booking services and independent advice. All ten branches also offer help from specialist cruise advisors and ski club advisors.
