Dividend card FAQs
Frequently asked questions about our dividend scheme. Click a question to show the answer.
Dividend is a traditional way of giving members a share of the profits. As a Lincolnshire Co-op member you'll receive a dividend card to collect dividend when using our stores and services. As a co-operative we give you dividend in proportion to your purchases so the more you spend, the more dividend you'll get in return.
Every time you use your dividend card, the receipt will show your current balance in pounds and pence. You can then use this money to pay for goods straight away.
Just tell the assistant you would like to pay with your dividend card and hand over your card at the till. The value of your purchase will be deducted from your current dividend balance. You can use your dividend points for full or part payment.
Yes. Make your purchase as normal and ask the assistant to suspend your dividend. Return to the store with your dividend card and receipt within seven days and ask for the dividend to be added onto your dividend card.
Dividend is issued at a rate of 1% in food stores and pharmacies (exclusions apply), travel branches and our florist. A rate of 2% is issued in coffee shops, transport and funeral services. You’ll also receive 5 points for every litre of fuel purchased in our filling stations (2,400 points equals £1).
You’ll receive 2x dividend all year round on fresh fruit and veg and all local and Fairtrade products purchased in our food stores. We also have 10x dividend offers in our food stores at different times throughout the year as well as extra dividend promotions in other areas of the business. Keep an eye out in store and online to see when the next one will be.
If you've lost your dividend card you'll need to let us know as soon as possible so we can stop anyone else using it and send you a new one. Contact our Member Accounts Team on 01522 781 135 or email firstname.lastname@example.org (including your dividend card number if known and your address).
Don't worry, we'll transfer your current dividend balance to your new card so you can carry on where you left off.
Your member number is the six digit number at the bottom left of your dividend card.
